Luz: Socialization has been controlled with a one-meter distance rule. Unemployment rate
increases due to downsizing the number of employees. We are not permitted to go
outside our homes unless attending to necessities.
Rod: But the national and local government tries to supply the essential needs through
giving of protective gears, relief goods and financial subsidy to our less fortunate
brothers and sisters, obliging us to remain at our homes for self-quarantine.
Luz: So, what have you done to help others?
Rod: Every day, our family cooks meals for our front liners in our neighborhood.
Luz: That’s a good thing! Last time, my family bought boxes of face masks and relief goods
such as cartoons of noodles and sardines and sacks of rice. And we repacked them so
that each of our neighbors especially those who have been affected by Enhanced
Community Quarantine, would have something to eat.
Rod: You are really a good Samaritan. You don’t hesitate to be very generous this time of
pandemic.
Luz: My friend, we are just sharing what we have. We all need unity. Besides, every little
thing you do makes a difference.

3. Parents wanted their children to stop education for a year if
there is no available vaccine for Covid-19.
You may have heard your parents talking about the opening of
classes and expressing their fear about having face-to-face instruction
even if there are other learning modalities which you can still pursue
learning at home.
4. Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, together with other local officials in
the city and in the barangays, leads the distribution of relief good to
