II. EVENT CONCEPT:


Conducting an educational visit to nearby places that prompt philosophical reflections
on the branches of philosophy and the human person as an embodied spirit in his/her
environment extends students’ understanding and appreciation of self and surroundings
beyond classroom lectures. By incorporating these immersive elements into our session,
the students will have the opportunity to engage with the subject in a more meaningful
and memorable way.

III. GOAL & OBJECTIVES:


1. To produce the midterm requirement called Thinkers’ Travlog, a group output that
is a compilation of video recordings relating objects or areas in the target
destinations to the previous lessons
2. To feature and promote the target destinations in an educational requirement
extending philosophical insights and inquiries from lectures beyond the classroom
setting
3. To imbibe a sense of historical and socio-cultural appreciation and education
through an immersive local tour experience
4. To pique students’ curiosity in exploring their identity and potential as well as the
environment
5. To engender creativity and collaboration from outside the campus

VII. COSTING SCHEDULE

As per the booking form sent in by the Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar (LCFA), QC, they require
a contracted rate of Php 270.00 per head with a minimum of 20 participants.

A 50% deposit, equal to Php 4,320.00 will be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit to
