The line chart indicates information about the amount and type of fast food consumed by

Australian teenagers over a 25-year period between 1975 and 2000, measured in the number of
times eaten.

Overall, the quantity of hamburgers and pizza eaten by juveniles rose dramatically. However, the
ingesting of fish and chips sharply decreased.

One of the fast foods that were consumed by youth the most was hamburgers. The consumption
of hamburgers increased significantly from 10 to 100 times between 1970 and 2000, exceeding
the feeding of pizza. Whereas, the amount of pizza consumed by young people experienced
considerable growth, from 5 to 83 times during the 1970s and 1990s. And then, it leveled off
until 2000.

On the other hand, the quantity of fish and chips consumed by teenagers fell. In 1973, the number
of times juveniles ate fish and chips was the highest, at 100. However, during a period from 1980
to 2000, the consumption of fish and chips steadily declined, finishing at just under 40 times a
year.
