1. If A = {x : x2 − 5x + 6 = 0}, B = {2, 4}, C = {4, 5} then find A × (B ∩ C).
2. Let Y = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5}, A = {1, 2} and B = {3, 4, 5}. Then find (Y × A) ∩ (Y × B).
5. If B is the set whose elements are obtained by adding 1 to each of the even numbers, then write down the set builder
notation of B.
