TASK 1: Project work On Disaster Management


Prepare a report on any ONE specific disaster that has occurred in India and highlight the
measures taken to help the disaster affected people. e.g.:

The Locust attack, Cyclone Nisarga, Uttarakhand Forest fire, Uttarakhand glacierburst

Objectives: The main objectives of giving project work on Disaster Management to the
students are to:
create awareness in them about different disasters, their consequences and management
 prepare them in advance to face such situations
 ensure their participation in disaster mitigation plans
 enable them to create awareness and preparedness among the community.
 The project work should also help in enhancing the Life Skills of the students.
 If possible, different forms of art may be integrated in the project work.
 The distribution of marks over different aspects relating to Project Workis as follows:

 Topic of the project, Name, Class and sec, Roll no. must be written on the cover page
in bold letters.
 The project work should not be of more than 15 pages (including the cover page)
 The Project Report should be handwritten by the students themselves.

TASK-2 Prepare a pocket guide along with First aid box. This guide contain aid that needs
to be given for fractures, poisoning, cuts and burns, asthma attack, back injury, heat and
cold wave and other threats that are prevalent in your region. The content shared in the
guide should be supported with adequate pictures so as to give a clear and elaborated
understanding about the topic.

General instructions:-
 Guide should be neat and clean.
 Cover page should be creative (including school name , class , session)
 The content in this guide should be hand written.
 Name of student , class and session should also be written on First aid box.

TASK-3 Art integrated project:


Learners have to prepare a project depicting the art and culture of Manipur.
The learners need to focus on the history, culture, people, dance, dresses, food, religious
places, heritage sites and famous places to visit in Manipur.
The project should include the information on each topic and various pictures showing
the same.

ENGLISH
1. Read the first two chapters of ‘Moments’. Prepare a mind map of both chapters.

2. Read the first two poems: The road not taken, and The Wind. Imagine the scene of
the poem and draw a beautiful painting. (anyone)

3. Read the chapter A Truly Beautiful Mind and My Childhood from the book Beehive.
Write five interesting facts about both of them on an assignment sheet separately. Paste
pictures to make it more interesting and presentable.
