 ABOUT AURA
AURA is an annual inter-collegiate sports and cultural fest of AIIMS Jodhpur.
This year, the 5th edition of AURA aspires to set a new benchmark from 20th
March to 23rd March. AIIMS Jodhpur will host the most awaited medfest, India
has ever seen!

We are thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to you for the most anticipated
extravaganza of the year with the theme- ORIENTAL ECHOES. A blend of
intricate patterns, vibrant colours, and captivating melodies that resonates with
the rich cultural heritage of East Asia. Oriental echoes spin a catchy tune, where
dragons soar through anime skies, adding a touch of magic to the timeless
rhythm of tradition and today.

To add a magical touch to your experience, AURA proudly presents the dazzling
STAR NIGHTS, showcasing unforgettable performances by luminaries like
Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal & Shekhar, Amit Trivedi, Jubin Nautiyal, KK, DJ
Nucleya, Zakir Khan, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Lost Stories, and many other
exceptional talents who mesmerized audiences of 15,000+ in its previous
editions. Get ready for this year's revelation of the Unmatched, the Magical, the

 ABOUT AIIMS JODHPUR
All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jodhpur, was established by the
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Government of India, under the
Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), with the aim of
correcting regional imbalances in the quality of tertiary level healthcare in the
country and attaining self sufficiency in undergraduate and postgraduate
education and training in the medical and nursing fields.

Established in 2012, AIIMS Jodhpur is well on its way to becoming one of the
leading institutes of the country in terms of medical education and research,
attracting a large number of students and faculties adapted both in academics
as well as extra-curriculars.

This institute boosts a sprawling campus with modern infrastructure and is

located in Jodhpur- the ‘Blue City’, a city well known for its rich cultural
heritage and vibrant history. Jodhpur has been featured on the 15th place in
New York Times list of 52 places to go in 2020 and is the sole Indian city on
the list. Being the second largest city of Rajasthan, it is a focal tourist
attraction, featuring magnificent palaces, forts and temples; all set against the
stark landscape of the Thar desert- making it a must visit place on everyone’s
bucket list.

The city and the institute are well accessible by Bus, Railways and Air
transport, the distance of railway station being 7km and airport just 9km from
the campus.

 ABOUT jODHPUR
City at a glance :
Also known as the ‘Sun City’, Jodhpur was founded by Rao Jodha, the
chief of Rathore clan. The city is also called the ‘Blue City’
because of the houses around Mehrangarh fort that are painted in
blue. Jodhpur is popular tourist destination featuring many places,
forts, lakes and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar desert.
One can enjoy the scenic and mesmerizing palaces, camping in the
desert, camel rides, famous local cuisine, folk music and much more.
