PHILIPPINE HISTORY
Why studying
Rizal
is important to be learned
by future generations?
To give honor to our
national hero
Studying Jose Rizal's life and contributions
is a significant social responsibility because
it provides a deeper understanding of our
national hero's sacrifices, inspires
admiration for his patriotic actions, and
encourages thoughts to create a sense of
patriotism amongst citizens.
To understand the
history of our country
The injustices and hardships endured by
Filipinos under Spanish colonial rule, including
land exploitation, excessive taxes, and
compulsory labor, are revealed in the study of
Jose Rizal's life and the historical context of
his time. Understanding these realities makes
it easier to sympathize with the struggles of
our ancestors and underlines the importance
of respecting the freedoms we enjoy today.
