Specification
• Counter range: 1 Hz – 50MHz auto-ranging (Maximum 50MHz)
• Accuracy: 5% for input frequency less than 1 KHz.
2% for input frequency greater than 1 KHz.
• 8 digits 7-segment LED display.
Operation
1. Turn on the AULT-2000 power.
2. Turn on the switch for the frequency counter.
3. The 8 Digits 7-segment LED display will show the reading of input frequency.
Figure 8
The programmable resistors provide a variable resistance value from the range of 0 ohm to 111,100 ohm in
the resolution of 10 ohm. It operated like the decade resistors as each of range divided to ten steps.
It divided into two outputs, one is for the range of 10 ohm and 100 ohm decade, and another is for the range of
1k ohm and 10k ohm decade. In order to select the desired ohm value, turn the single of combination of desired ohm
value to on state (for the selector switch: up is off state, down is on state).

The programmable capacitors provide a variable capacitance value from the range of 0F to 11,110nF in the
resolution of 1nF. It operated like the decade capacitors as each of range divided to ten steps.
It divided into two outputs, one is for the range of 1nF and 10nF decade, and another is for the range of 100nF
and 1000nF decade. In order to select the desired F value, turn the single of combination of desired F value to on state
(for the selector switch: up is on state, down is off state).

The programmable inductors provide a variable inductance value from the range of 0 H to 11,100 microH in
the resolution of 1 microH. It operated like the decade inductors as each of range divided to ten steps.
It divided into two outputs, one is for the range of 1 microH and 10 microH decade, and another is for the
range of 100 microH and 1000 microH decade. In order to select the desired H value, turn the single of combination of

2-5: Potentiometer
Figure 18
Specification:
• Three range of variable resistance: 10k Ohm, 50K Ohm, 100K Ohm
• When the potentiometer knob turn to fully counter clockwise direction, the resistance value between
the left point and the center point is minimum and the resistance value between the right point and
center point is maximum.
• As the knob start turning to the clockwise direction, the resistance value between the left point and the
center point will be decreasing and the resistance value between the right point and center point will be
increasing.
• When the potentiometer knob reach to the fully clockwise direction, the resistance value between the
left point and the center point is maximum and the resistance value between the right point and center
point is minimum.

The serial interface consists a 9 pins female type RS232 interface, and the connection can make through male
connection of type RS232 interface from the application, and each of the pins output or signal can be determined or
measure at the outputs on the turn pins for each pins, where the most right turn pin is connected to the pin 1 of RS232,
and the second right is connected to the pin 2 of RS232 until the left most turn pin connected to the pin 9 of RS232.
The USB port interface consists of two 4 pins USB interface where the signal of each pin can be determined
on the turn pins below.
BNC adaptors is used for the coaxial cable which connects much radio, television, and other radio-
frequency electronic equipment.
Figure 23
The parallel port interface consist of 36 pins of IEEE 488 style (Centronics) connector where output for each
of the pins can be determined through the turn pins below where the numbering for each pins stated on the board.

4MM Adaptor provides 5 mini plugs with test points on each pins while 2MM Adaptor provides 9 mini plugs
with test points on each pins.
The Seller warrants to the Purchaser that any equipment manufactured by it and bearing its name plate to be free from
defects in material or workmanship, under proper and normal use and service, as follows: If, at any time within one (1)
year from the date of shipment, the Purchaser notifies the Seller that in his opinion, the equipment is defective, and
returns the equipment to the Seller’s originating factory prepaid, and the Sellers inspection finds the equipment to be
defective in material or workmanship except part like switches, knob, push button, lighting, etc. the Seller will
promptly correct it by either, at its option, repairing any defective part or material or replacing it free of charge and
return shipping lowest cost transportation prepaid by purchaser (if Purchaser requests premium transportation,
Purchaser will be billed for difference in transportation costs). If inspection by the Seller does not disclose any defect
in material or workmanship, the Seller’s regular charges will apply. This warranty shall be effective only if use and
maintenance is in accordance with Seller's instructions and written notice of a defect is given to the Seller within such
