The Present Progressive Tense

RULES FOR THE VERB IN GERUND “ING”

1)Add gerund “ING” to most verbs.

I COOK Spaghetti. I’m cooking spaghetti.

2)For verbs that end in E, remove the e and add gerund: “ING”.

4) If a verb ends in Y followed by a CONSONANT, add gerund:
