1:50-2:40 PEACE AND VALUES EDUCATION - Having realized certain morales from the previous period, the students now
Compassionate receive paper strips from the teacher. Each writes a word or a phrase on it
stating the ethical notion they have acquired from the story.
Paper Chain of Compassion Acts - With a provided glue, the teacher then asks the students to make a chain out
of all their paper strips, interconnecting each sheet to form an observable
elongated chain of insightful integrities –seeing that despite all the
uncertainties, still, there are kindness in the world.
Reflective Journal
- Students write a 3-paragraph essay conceding to the question: If you were the
grasshopper, what will you do next after having experienced his regret?
