El Born

In Barcelona, El Born is an old neighborhood filled with narrow streets where sunlight filters
down between the tall buildings. The long curve of the shawl, alternating and expanding
bands of dark and light, and a lace edging reminiscent of iron work all evoke memories of
wandering in that area.
