An all-round solution
PONGS has developed a number of solutions to solve all pro-
blems concerning your ceilings. High technological standards
and esthetics are the key note and almost present a product
specification. The developements of PONGS are suitable for all
types of walls and ceilings and are up to the latest technical
standards. At the same time they offer incomparable visual ap-
pearances and results.
Technical process :
DESCOR® is a wall and stretch ceiling made of Polyester with a
special PU-coating.
The DESCOR® acoustic ceiling is installed on a profile system,
which runs around the area to be covered. The composition and
quality of the stretch ceiling allows an ideal handling. Large sur-
faces with more than 5 m width can be mounted by using a
double fixing.
The installation of deco-elements as well as technical compo-
nents like lamps, spots, exhaust systems, air conditioner, etc are
easy to carry out.
PONGS guarantees materials conforming to standards of fire
protection classification according to DIN 4102 B1 (Germany),
M1 (France) and European class B-s1d0.
The installation of the DESCOR® ceiling occurs after the moun-
ting of the DESCOR®-profile, which is mounted around the
covering area. The 10 mm thin profile, consisting of 2 different
PVC-materials, is suitable for all architectural shapes like curves
or chamfers.
The cover fabric is fitted into the profiles with a bended spatula,
which is especially designed. The ridged system provides a fix
hold of the cover fabric.
