Assignment

1. Why would be important to the organization to match the person's personality to the job or
organization?
- The closer the traits between the person and the company match, the higher the chance of
workplace productivity and satisfaction. The best personality fit will also decrease job turnover
and stress, absenteeism, and poor job satisfaction.

2. Do you think you would like working in a company with the sort of performance system? Why
or why not?
- Yes I would definitely like to be part of this system. Traditional systems are at a disadvantage.
The job that I have now is at a performance system. It motivates people to work hard and to
reach the companies goals faster.

3. Do you think goal setting will increase employee motivation and performance?
- Goals are more effective in motivating employees when employees receive feedback on their
accomplishments, have the ability to perform, and are committed to goals.

4. What would best reflect good performance on the job?


- Reflecting on our interactions, reactions, and emotions helps us develop self-awareness and
emotional intelligence. We become more attuned to our strengths, weaknesses, and triggers,
enabling us to manage ourselves better and navigate relationships with colleagues more
effectively.
