Joy For Today

Psalm 94:19 When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy (NIV)

Are you feeling down from all the bad news? How do we find joy in gloomy days? We read verses like Psalm 28:7
where it tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Also Psalm 94:19 reminds us that the consolation of the Lord
brings us joy. Everyday that we wake up, everyday that we are alive brings us hope. Our joy is found in what Jesus has
done for us and what awaits us in heaven.

What you can do today? Find joy in something that reminds you of those two things. Find something today to be
happy about. It may be gloomy outside, but you can be happy with a cup of tea or coffee with a blanket and a book. It
may be raining outside, but you can be happy that flowers and trees are getting what they need. You may not feel well
today, but know that there will be better days ahead. Look around you and find joy today!
