The detailed instructions for this FA are as follows: General 1 This Final Assessment (FA) is an Individual, time restricted assessment which consists of FOUR (4) questions. ‘You are required to answer TWO (2) out of THREE (3) questions: Question 1: Answer ALL questions (Compulsory). Question 2 and Question 3: Answer ONE (1) question only. In cases where a choice of questions is provided, only answers to the initially chosen questions will be marked. Any additional questions answered will not be considered. Only ONE (1) online submission is allowed. You must submit the ANSWER SCRIPT by 9.00 pm, 4 May 2021. During the period of this FA, if you require any clarification from your lecturer(s), the contact details can be obtained from the FA guide/FA guidelines available on WBLE. You may refer to any books, lecture notes, published materials, online resources ete. when answering the questions. Define explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge based on the situation above and elaborate how the situation relates to both types of knowledge. Based on this situation, answer the following questions. (State any THREE (3) attributes of big data. Explain how Andy could classify the data he obtains in his company as big data based on the attributes. (6 marks) (i) Suggest TWO (2) ways how big data analytics helps Andy’s company in providing better products and services to customers. (4 marks) (iii) Movies or TV shows searched by customers are one of the data that can be used by Andy in data analytics. Provide THREE (3) other useful data that could be used by Andy and his company to understand customer preferences. He got himself admitted to a hospital. He was required to undergo X-Ray and MRI scans. The doctor recorded all the needed information and discussed with Mason on the recommended treatment, Mason was notified on the amount of cost he would need to bear for the treatment. Mason requested to pay for the treatment using his insurance medical card. The hospital processed Mason’s request and produced an invoice that showed the breakdown of the whole treatment for Mason’s reference. For this question, you are required to replace “FF” with the first two digits of your student ID, and “LL” with the last two digits of your student ID.
