MENDOZA Section: 2-T Subject: DYNAMICS

#ASSIGNMENT

-Dynamics is a branch of physics that deals with the study of forces and motion, particularly how objects move
and interact under the influence of forces. It involves analyzing the causes of motion and the effects of forces on
objects, including the study of acceleration, velocity, and the resulting trajectories of objects. In engineering,
dynamics also encompasses the study of mechanical systems and structures in motion, which is essential for
understanding how they behave under various conditions.

-Kinematics: This part of dynamics deals with the study of motion, including the description of objects in motion
without considering the forces causing the motion.
Kinetics: Kinetics focuses on the forces that cause motion, including the study of how forces affect the motion of
objects and systems.
Particle Dynamics: This area of dynamics involves the study of the motion of individual particles and their
interactions under the influence of forces.
Rigid Body Dynamics: Rigid body dynamics deals with the motion of solid objects that do not deform, analyzing
their movement and rotation in response to applied forces.
Fluid Dynamics: This branch of dynamics is concerned with the study of fluids in motion, including the behavior
of liquids and gases under the influence of forces.

Force: Force is a push or pull acting on an object, causing it to accelerate or deform.

Mass: Mass is the measure of the amount of matter in an object and is a fundamental property in dynamics.
Newton's Laws of Motion: These laws describe the relationship between the motion of an object and the forces
acting on it.
Inertia: Inertia is the resistance of any physical object to any change in its state of motion.
Momentum: Momentum is a measure of the motion of an object and is related to both its mass and velocity.
Define the problem: Clearly understand what is being asked and identify the known and unknown quantities.
Draw a clear diagram: Visual representations can help in understanding the situation and identifying the forces
and motions involved.
Apply Newton's laws of motion: Use the appropriate laws and principles to analyze the forces and motions
involved in the problem.
Use relevant equations: Apply equations of motion, energy, and momentum to solve for the unknown
quantities.
Check your solution: Ensure that your answer makes sense in the context of the problem and check for any
errors in your calculations.
