    What type of software is used for the creation of a DTP document?

    To create a DTP document we need to used the software publish IT.

    What are three differences between DTP software and word processors?

    One of the differences between DTP software and Word processor is that DTP software we can
    create graphic design, information design, output and press technologies and images. A Word
    processor doesn´t have these functions except some modern Word processors.

    Other difference is that with DTP we can control text around images, to obtaine hight quality

    for printing (magazines, brochures …)

    What is a PDF and what can it do?

    The PDF is a portable document that allows people view, search and print documents for
    publishing. PDF files can be published and distributed anywere as attached to email,
    websites...

    Which program do you need to view a PDF document?

    With acrobat reader.

    Why do people send their DTP files to service bureaux?

    Because the CTP machines are expensive.
