The Mousedeer and the Magic Flute.

One day Mouse Deer sat down

in front of the bamboo plants.
He heard a loud sound, ‘Grrrrrrr...!’
He ran to hide in the grass.
A big tiger came out from behind the
bamboo plants. First he saw Mouse
Deer and then he called,
 ” I am hungry. Why don’t you run
away?”

Mouse Deer yelled,

“I am guarding the king’s magic flute.
If I leave, the king might lock me in
a cage!”

“What can you do with a magic flute?”

asked the tiger.
“I can blow with it, but you must
close your eyes”
said the Mouse Deer.
The wind blew the bamboos.
The tiger asked “Can I blow the king’s
flute?’
“Yes, put your tongue in the bamboos
and blow as hard as you can.” said
Mouse Deer.
The tiger put his long tongue in the
bamboos.
The bamboo plants moved.
The tiger’s tongue got stuck.
“Ouch! Ouch!” cried tiger.
