19. Let P be the set of all triangles in a plane and R be the relation defined on P as aRb if a is similar to b.
Prove that R is an equivalence relation.
20. Show that the relation xy = −2 is a function for a suitable domain. Find the domain and the
Range of the function .

21. Graph the functions f(x) = x3 and g(x) = x on the same coordinate plane. Find f ◦ g and graph it on the plane
as well. Explain your results.
22. If f : R → R is defined as f(x) = 2x2 − 1, find the pre-images of 17, 4 and −2 .
