INTRODUCTION:-
Education is the most vital asset we have because our knowledge is
priceless wealth that people will never mislay under circumstances
elementary education from the foundation for going basic knowledge
without which one of our dreams will be possible. Elementary
education refers to the first phase of compulsory education that
children receive during the age group of 6-14.
This education has specific the goal to meet
the children requirement. The duration of elementary education is for
a period of eight years. One the children begin their formal schooling.
The stage of elementary education includes classes from 1-8.

NEED OF THE STUDY:-


It is a part of our course. To know availability of facilities and
resources about the school.

FACILITY:-
Adequate and appreciate school facilities. Facilitate at the school
program. A conductive physical environment that is safe, secure and
comfortable. These facilities consist of not only physical facilities but
also include material, equipment, information, technology, as well as
the play-ground etc.

REASOURCES:-
The resources in the school include. That human resources namely
the Student’s, teacher's and other staffs. Without resources there is no
use of facilities. Resources support the teaching-learning process and
the basic education. Which is a truthful step towards universalization
of elementary education without these facilities and resources, a
school cannot successfully run .

TITLE OF THE STUDY:-


The project is entitled as "Survey of facilities and resources
available in the Govt high School IRC village”

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY MAY STATE AS:-


1. To find out the class room facilities in the school.
2. To find out the physical facilities in the school.
3. To study the staff position in the school.
4. To study the library facility in the school.
5. To make an of TLM used in the teaching lesrning process.
6. To find out games and sports material used in the school.
7. To study the mid-day meal program in the school.
8. To study the health and hygienic facilities in the school.
9. To find out the toilet facilities for boys and girls in the school.
10. To find out the water facilities in the school.
11.To find out the deficiencies in the school facilities and
resources in the school.

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS:-


The present study as limited to Govt high School IRC village, Bhubaneswar.
The present study as limited to the facilities and resources in the Govt high
School IRC village, Bhubaneswar.

OPERATIONAL DEFINITION OF THE

TERMS:- FACILITIES:-
Facilities refers to all the the available things in the school. It includeds the
physical, facilities etc.

RESOURCES:-
The term resources mainly refers to human resources in the school
including all the students, teacher and other staff member.

SURVEY:-
Generally, survey means to take general or comprehensive views of a
situation areas of study etc. In the present study survey was conducted on
the members physical facilities, library facilities, sports facilities and mid-
day meal facilities.

CHAPTER-2
METHODOLOGY:- The project worker used field study method in the Govt
high School IRC village, Bhubaneswar.

TOOLS AND TECHNIQUE:-


To collect data about the facilities and resources available in the school, a
tool named school information schedule was developed. These tools
consist of two types of items. Some of them are related to facilities and
some of the to related to resources. it includes questionnaire and data
collection schedule etc.

FINDING:-

1. The school building is very good. It is absolutely fine and beautiful.


2. There is 5 class rooms for each section.
3. Electricity is available in the school.
4. There is 1 kitchen room.
5. There are separate toilets for boys and girls.

6. Tube-well not available instead of tube well there is aquaguards for


safe drinking water.
7. - There are 70 teachers.
8. There is library facilities.
9. There are 4000 students in the school.
10. There is canteen which provides healthy food.
11. The cleanliness is maintained by the students.
12. Beside all other peculiar facilities are found in the school.

RECOMMENDATIONS:-

1. There should be more teaching learning materials are most be used.


2. For cleanliness some persons should be appointed in school.
3. The toilet should be cleaned regularly.

SUMMARY:-

The project entitled "survey of facilities and resources available in Govt


high School IRC village " was under taken by the project worker to study
nature and facilities available school in IRC village area. The project
worker activities carried on government elementary Govt high School
IRC village .
A school information schedule was developed
for collection required on different school facilities and resources in Govt
high School IRC village. The project was visited the school properly and
contacted the item and who provided the information/ data in the
school. The data was organized interpreted and according the finding
recommendations have been repeated as follows .
