Exposure to ionizing radiation is one of the situations faced by both workers and users of a

radiology service, for this reason workers should have a broad knowledge regarding the different
ways to protect themselves from these radiations and likewise provide the possibility of this
same protection to the users of the radiology service, since it is the duty of the technologist to
provide this care and thus protect people from the harmful effects of radiation, but without
unduly limiting the practices that, giving rise to exposure to radiation. It is the duty of the
technologist to provide this care and thus protect people from the harmful effects of radiation,
but without unduly limiting the practices that, giving rise to exposure to radiation, are of benefit
to users during the performance of their radiological studies. From the above mentioned, this
research work aims to analyze the safety practices that exist in the radiology service to exposure
to ionizing radiation and the knowledge with which the staff has, these will be carried out from
the training and theoretical analysis that will generate recommendations feedback on such care to
bad practices to RX exposures.
