Preface
Using saturated steam for sterilization, the sterilizer makes the sterilized objects in a state of
humidity and high temperature, and constant temperature for a time the microbe is killed and the
effect of sterilization. The sterilizers adopted immersing electro thermal tube for heating, power
switch and water cock on the pad. With the advantages of the small and portable, reliable effect,
operating easily, etc. It’s an ideal equipment for clinics, scientific research and other organizations to
sterilize surgical instruments, fabrics, glasses, culture mediums, etc.
The sterilizer is an upgrade product based on the original developed by our company in accordance
with the industry standard of YY 0504-2016 “Portable Steam Sterilizer”. The product is controlled
by a microcomputer with LED digital tubes and indicator lights on the operation panel showing the
working status. It helps achieve the aim of setting the temperature and sterilizing heat preservation
time of the small portable sterilizer as required, stopping heating with low water level and alarming
with anti-dry. The sterilizer is made of SUS304 high quality stainless steel plate, and the heating
source is immersed stainless steel heating pipe.
1. Sterilization Factor and Strength
The pressure steam sterilizer uses saturated steam as a sterilization factor. If a standard test kit is put
in the sterilization chamber and kept for 30 minutes at 121°C, the indicator bacteria Bacillus
thermophilesin the centre of the test kit can be killed completely.
2. Principle of sterilization
The sterilized objects are stored under pressure. Using the principle of gravity displacement, the air
in the sterilization chamber makes the hot steam from the top and down discharge the cold air
through the steam pipe from the steam valve. Then the cold air discharged is replaced by the
saturated steam. At the same time, the saturated vapour releases, quickly moistens and heats the
sterilized items. To achieve sterilization, the microorganisms will not be destroyed and killed unless
the sterilizing temperature is reached and incubated for a period of time.
3. Category of microbes
It kills all microorganisms, including spores.
4. Scope of application
It is used by medical institutions to kill microorganisms that can be resistant to pressure and high-
temperature steam.

2. Restrictions and Warnings
Each equipment is marked with a mark. The user should read this manual carefully to avoid
equipment damage and danger due to operation mistakes.
The device is marked with to remind users not to touch directly at high surface temperature when
working, avoiding burns.
This product must not be used in the mixed environment with flammable and explosive materials.
This product is strictly prohibited for heating highly volatile substances containing such as
alcohol and gasoline.
The sterilized item cannot be contacted or itself contains chlorine ions and chloride substances
which are easily decomposed at high temperatures. Otherwise, the inter-granular corrosion of
stainless steel will occur, and long-term use will cause plaque and cracks in the container.
Pressure steam sterilization methods cannot be used for the sterilization of oils and powders such
as Vaseline.
The power supply of the sterilizer must comply with the specifications of the technical conditions.
The power supply and the conditions of use should comply with the relevant provisions of
electromagnetic compatibility. The equipment must be grounded as required.
The temperature and time of the sterilizer should be set within the specified range and must not
exceed the specified requirements.
The tightness and size of the sterilization bag directly affect the result of sterilization. Users of
this product should verify the sterilization effect of the most unfavourable sterilization package.
This product must not sterilize closed liquids.
Operators should be specially trained to pass the assessment before they start sterilizing.
When the sterilizer is working, the operator must not be far away from the post. Once the
sterilizeris found working abnormally, the power should be cut off in time.
Operators including installation technician and maintenance technician should carefully read the
manual in advance and follow the instructions as required.
This product has pressure self-locking device. When the sterilization chamber has pressure, the
door of the device is self-locking. At this point, you cannot forcefully open the lid handle. After the
sterilization process is completed, the pressure in the sterilization chamber has dropped (table
pressure is returned to zero), the interlock device at this time has been unlocked and the door can be
opened.
It should be noted that the operator should wear protective gloves to take out sterilized items to
prevent burns to the hands as the barrel of the sterilization chamber is still in a high temperature state
after sterilization.
This product has a 5-year period useful life.

3.Structural composition and Characteristics
 The structure of this product consists of cylinder body, cover, control system, safety valve, air
release valve, pressure gauge, air pipe, heating pipe, storage tank, pallet, base, drain valve and
interlocking device.
 The sterilizer safety type is Class I and has good grounding performance.
 This product adopts SUS304 high-quality stainless-steel sheet and is manufactured with
advanced technology such as drawing, rolling, and argon arc welding. It has sufficient safety
strength to work under normal conditions.
 The seal ring of the sterilizer is designed to rise axially and is made of silicone rubber.
 Anti-overpressure safety valve is installed on the sterilizer cover, which can effectively prevent
hidden dangers caused by overpressure.
 The sterilizer cover is equipped with a steam release valve for cold air discharge. Cold air and
condensed water in the exhauster are discharged and has a role of cooling and depressurizing at
the beginning of heating and at the end of sterilization.
 Double-line pressure gauge pointer indicates clearly with convenient observation and reliable
performance.
 The sterilizer can set the sterilization temperature and holding time according to the
requirements of the sterilization object.
 All indicators of the sterilizer control panel within a suitable working height range are very clear
and the operation is very convenient.
 The temperature and time of the sterilization process are displayed in segments by the LED
digital tube.
 The LED indicators on the operation panel light up according to operation requirements and
operating status.
 The sterilizer has the alarm function of low water level and end of insulation.
 The anti-dry function of the sterilizer is controlled by the liquid level switch. When the water
level in the barrel is lower than the designed height, the heating tube automatically stops heating
to prevent the heating tube from being overheated and damaged.
 The sterilizer has an “auto-tuning “function, which canspeed up the heating speed and improve
the accuracy of temperature control by turning on the “self-tuning” function when the
temperature are greatly corrected and sterilization object quality changes.
 The working process of the sterilization after boosting does not pollute the environment due to
steam emissions and no interference is caused by noise.
 When holding time of the sterilization ends, not only the multi-point indication of the panel but
also the buzzer sounds will remind.
 The sterilizer has a running control switch to prevent the heating pipe from working immediately
after the device is powered on.
 In order to prevent high-temperature injuries during work, the sterilizer lid handle is made of
rigid engineering plastic.
 The calibre structure is adopted for the lid lock, which has stable performance and convenient
operation.
 The bottom of the sterilizer is provided with a sear ring and a tap. The product has good stability
when placed, and it is convenient to discharge concentrated water.
 The immersion type of electric heating tube has high thermal efficiency and the stainless steel
outer tube is sturdy and durable.

4.Operation
4.1 Product structure composition

4.2 Operation panel


The figure on the right shows the control panel of the
sterilizer. The control panel of the sterilizer consists of a
digital display window, indicator lights, and operation
keys. Indicators and operation buttons have text or
symbols to indicate their role; after the digital display is
powered on, numbers or letters are displayed according to
actual conditions.
"Water level" indicator: After power on, the light is on when there is no water in the barrel (or the
water level is lower than the protection low level), it is red, and the buzzer sounds at the same time;
when the water level in the barrel is higher than the low water level, The indicator light turns green
and can be heated. However, this does not mean that the amount of water in the barrel can meet the
needs of the entire sterilization process. The sterilizing starting water level must be added to the
prescribed position as required by the schematic.
"Heating" indicator: When the water level is higher than the low water level, and the "Operation
switch" is toggled, the light is on when the heating tube starts to generate heat. The lamp flashes
when it is close to the sterilization temperature and when heat is applied. The light is yellow.

"Insulation" indicator: This indicator lights up when the temperature inside the barrel reaches the
design timed temperature. At the end of the timer, the light goes out. The lamp is white.
“Temperature setting” indicator: In the power-on state, the default value of the temperature setting
is 126°C, and the corresponding holding time is locked for 25 minutes. If the last set temperature is
121°C, the corresponding holding time is locked for 30 minutes; and the last set temperature and
time will be maintained after the power is turned on.
Click SET key “SET”: Set the temperature indicator flashing, press “△” in the operation key to
adjust the key to 126°C, and the down key to 121°C.
The display window in the middle of the panel consists of four LED digital tubes. According to the
working procedure entered by the device during normal operation, the current key elements are
displayed, such as: the temperature value displayed in the device when heating; when entering the
thermal insulation, The accumulated soak time value is displayed; when the end of soaking shows
“END”, the sterilization process is completed.
4.3 Operation
 Preparation
a. After the user obtains this product, he or she should first recognize the upward case. Cut the straps,
use a knife to open the sealing paper, open the mouth of the box; remove the top foam board, put
fingers into the diagonal space of the carton, hook the flange of the sterilizer mouth, and remove the
sterilizer together with the plastic bag.
b. Remove the plastic bag and collect the documentation on the cover and other documents. Please
keep the documents in a safe place.
c. Clean the sterilizer wall with the wringer and the pallet, especially the outer circumference of the
seal ring, with a wrung damp cloth.
d. Select the sterilization environment and placement. The company recommends that the sterilizer
should be placed on a stable shelf or table with a height of about 50 cm, with appropriate space left
and right and the direction of operation. Near the wall 1.5m height configuration dedicated
distribution board (box).
e. The switchboard (box) shall have two small overcurrent protection circuit breakers with the same
specifications as the plugs on the device wires and complying with the national standard of the
oblique three-pin socket and the control socket. The current specification of the circuit breaker is
≤15A. At the same time, control the on-off of the neutral line and the phase line. Do not insert or
remove the plug during normal use. Instead, use the circuit breaker to control power
transmission and power off.
f. The wire diameter of the input wire of the power supply is 2~2.5mm2; the grounding pin of the
three-eye socket should be firmly grounded.
g. The installation of the switchboard should be performed by a professional electrician.
h. Check the “running switch” and the switchboard circuit breaker on the right side of the control box,
so that the “running switch” and the circuit breaker are both in the off position (the “○” mark on the
switch rocker is lowered); The switch wrench is in the "OFF" position).
I. Plug the power cord of the device into the socket of the switchboard to ensure that the plug is fully
inserted.
j. Push on the circuit-breaker switch wrench and go to the “ON” position. At this time, the digital
tube and “water level” indicator on the control panel are on, the “water level” indicator is red, and
the buzzer alarm.
The “water level” indicator light is red, indicating that there is no water in the bucket or the
water level has reached a low water level and cannot be heated.
Add water
When adding water, the storage bucket should be taken out, and then the bucket is filled with
distilled water or purified water (see P, for the requirements of water quality components). After

adding the water level must reach the designated position of the footrest (the position indicated on
the product map).
In the process of adding water, the buzzer of the sterilizer will stop beeping, and the “water level”
indicator will change from red to green. At this time, it is only indicated that the water level can meet
the need of heating the heating pipe, but it does not mean that the water level at this time can meet
the needs of the entire sterilization process, the working water level must be as described above.
Please check and turn off the faucet before adding water into sterilizer. When used continuously, it is
necessary to fill in the working water level before each operation, so as to avoid midway due to lack
of water, stop the sterilization work, and even burn the electric heating pipe and cause accidents.
Sterilization temperature and holding time are actually related to the size of packing, the tightness of
packing, as well as the objects to be sterilized and their stacking gap. Therefore, the actual
parameters of sterilization temperature and holding time should be double confirmed after the effect
of sterilization.
Stacking
Stacked sterilized objects should be taken out of the hopper. Put the items to be sterilized after being
properly packed into the storage barrel so that there is a gap between the packages, which is
favorable for the penetration of high pressure steam and improves the sterilization effect. Then
gently put the storage bucket into the sterilizing barrel and let it rest on the three footrests. If the
mouth of the storage tank after being placed is inclined, it means that it has not been placed and
needs to be adjusted. And move the bucket's semi-circular groove to the back of the barrel.
Please pay attention to the temperature sensor inside the left front side of the sterilizing tank when
putting the storage tank and must not be pressed.
Cover
The structure of the product is caliper. When the handle is rotated 90°clockwise, the caliper will slide
outwards. At this time, just put the lid on the barrel and turn the handle counterclockwise to restore it
to its original position. The lid and barrel are locked.
When inserting the cover, the steam guide pipe under the steam release valve should be inserted into
the semi-circular groove on the side of the storage bucket so that the steam guide spout can reach the
bottom of the storage bucket.
Heating
Turn the "Run Switch" on the right side of the control box so that the end of the rocker with the "○"
symbol is lowered and the "Heating" indicator (yellow) is illuminated, that means heating is started.
At the same time, the digital display shows the temperature inside the device.
After the heating is started, the small wrench on the top of the steam discharge valve (on the right
side of the cover) should be raised to the vertical position, so that the air generated in the barrel and
the water produced by the condensation will escape with the pressure generated during the heating,
leaving the steam to be rushed. After ejecting, return the small wrench to its original position.
Afterwards, the sterilizer pressure gauge indicates that the pressure will rise, and at the same time the
latch of the interlocking device will also rise, and the caliper will be connected to the post to prevent
the handle from rotating, and the caliper cannot be moved outward.
When the temperature inside the sterilizer is close to the sterilization setting temperature, the heating
method changes from continuous heating to intermittent heating. Therefore, the heating indicator
light will be off and on alternately.
Insulation and timing
After the temperature of the sterilizer rises to the set temperature, the white “warmer” indicator on
the top of the control panel is on, and the value of the nixie tube changes from the display
temperature to the accumulated value (in minutes) of the display soak time.

When the accumulated value reaches the set holding time value, the digital display is changed to
“END”, indicating that the sterilization holding time has ended, and the buzzer in the sterilizer is
beeping for 10 seconds. The heat indicator and the heating indicator are off. Terminate heating.
Insulation process safety valve will not emit steam polluted air, no noise generated environment is
very quiet.
Steam release, pressure relief, and open cover
After the sterilization and heat preservation time expires, the "operation switch" is dialed back to the
state in which the "┃" is squatted. The lever valve is used to lift the lid and the right safety valve
lever hand releases the pressure and steam in the barrel. Come out, through this method, so that the
gauge pressure dropped to zero until the temperature display value is lower than 90 °C, the handle
can be turned to open the lid.
When dialing the steam release valve wrench, as long as the pot body has been heated, be sure to use
tools to operate, it is best to wear rubberized gloves.
Drying
When the sterilization is finished, the medical device, dressing, and utensils are finished, and after
the steam is released and the lid is opened according to the above requirements, the sterilized article
can be naturally cooled with the barrel to increase the degree of drying of the package, or the
package can be placed after the sterilization is completed. Clean room conditions (relatively sealed
with sterile or sterile conditions, clean and dust-free environment; indoor air flow; relative humidity
less than 60%) Shelf made of non-metallic or fine metal. Let it cool naturally.
End
After the sterilization work is completed, turn off the power supply circuit breaker on the distribution
board, drain the concentrated water in the barrel, and use a rag to remove the water traces inside the
barrel and inside the cover and inside and outside the storage barrel. The lid is placed on a clean, flat
table.
Display temperature correction method
When the sterilizer shows the temperature value before and after reaching the set temperature,
observe whether the indication value of the pressure gauge pointer is consistent with the display
value of temperature. If there is a big difference, the display value should be corrected based on the
pressure gauge value. (Method: long press the "SET" button, until the display shows "LK" code (LK
code and its parameter value turns flash), use "△" to adjust the parameter value to 18, continue to
press the "SET" button to The “PK” symbol appears, and then the correction is added or subtracted
according to the difference between the indicated value of the pressure gauge and the digital display
value.If the pressure gauge display is higher than the display of the digital tube and the addition is
done, otherwise the subtraction is done.Basically, 1 degree on the pressure gauge, correction the
value of the parameter is 30. After the correction is completed, press the “SET” key for a long time
and confirm and exit. Before modifying the parameters, leave the microcomputer in the “self-tuning”
state.
 Set the working temperature and working time by yourself
The product's factory-set sterilization temperature is 126°C and 121°C, and the corresponding
sterilization time is 25min and 30min. If the user uses this device to perform other special
experimental activities, the setting temperature can be adjusted. The adjustment method is as follows:
The "SET" in the operation key is: Setting/Enter key. If you need to change the original setting
temperature or soak time or enter the internal differential correction, you should press this button
first, after the setting is complete, you should press this button again, and then confirm the
modification.
The “△” in the operation key is: Up key, in the “Settings” state, click this key. The set value
mantissa goes up by one. If you hold down this key, the value can continuously advance until you

release the key and stop. If during the heating process (without pressing the "SET" key), long press
the key, when the decimal point of the display window value becomes flashing, the control system
enters the "auto tuning" function.
The “▽” in the operation key is: Down key, when setting parameters, click this key to set back the
set value mantissa by 1. If you hold down this key, the value can continuously decrease until you
release the key and stop.
If the above adjustment is used to sterilize special medical devices, the set sterilization temperature
and holding time may not necessarily achieve sterility, and the user must verify the sterilization
effect obtained by self-setting temperature and time parameters.

5.Precautions and Maintenance
The equipment mark indicates that the surface temperature of the sterilizer is high under
working conditions. When using the product, the human skin of the operator must not directly
contact the barrel to prevent scalding.
When the steam in the barrel has not been discharged (the gauge pressure has not returned to
zero) and the temperature in the device has not dropped below the boiling point of the
sterilization object, the lid cannot be opened.

1. The power must be consistent with the voltage required by the device. And should ensure a good
grounding.
2. The sterilizer power supply should be equipped with a separate power distribution board. The
power distribution board should have power switch, socket and fuse device that are consistent with
the power supply line plug of the equipment. The capacity of all components should be ~220V 15A,
the installation of the switchboard should be performed by a professional electrician.
3. Sterilizer should be placed on a stable, firm, appropriate height of the shelf or the desktop
operation, leaving a suitable space around the shelf.
4. Before each use, should check the main barrel water level, the water level should reach the marked
position.
5. Although the sterilizer has anti-dry function and automatic control of the temperature and time,
but the operator should still comply with the requirements of the instructions to add water and cannot
be arbitrarily away from the post. Prevent unnecessary safety incidents from happening.
6. The cover and uncover should be operated in accordance with the requirements of the previous
description of this manual. When the sterilizer is under pressure, it is not possible to forcibly turn the
capped handle to prevent equipment damage.
7. The distilled water and pure water should be used for the sterilizer, which meets the requirements
of relevant standards (see: IX).
8. The roundness of the sterilizer cover and the mouth of the tubule must not be deformed by
external forces. Once it is deformed, it will be unable to seal.
9. When the pressure indicator is not allowed or does not return to zero should be repaired or
replaced.
10. As a safety accessory for pressure vessels, safety valves should always be kept flexible by lifting
the valve. In addition, regular verification should be done in accordance with the relevant national
laws and regulations.
11. Rubber seals will use a longtime aging, should be replaced in due course. When using it again,
check the position of the seal ring. If it is loose, it must be reset before it can continue to operate.
Seals must not come in contact with any solvents.
12. When the sterilizer is working, the operator can't leave it alone and should observe the running
status of the equipment from time to time. Once a suspected failure is found, the working switch or
switch should be closed in time to cut off the power supply for inspection or replace the accessories.
13. After the sterilization work on the day is finished, concentrate water in the bucket should be
drained through the drain valve. When scrubbing the water in the cleaning tank, the level switch and
temperature sensor that control the water level must not be damaged.
14. The time and temperature required for sterilization should be checked frequently with a
thermometer, sterilization indicator card or bacterial culture method to obtain a reliable sterilization
effect.
15. The electrical control elements must work under the specified power supply conditions. Damage
caused by the use of electrical components for a long period of time should contact the company.
Using the unauthorized components may cause danger.

16. Always check the grounding performance of the power cord and equipment to ensure that they
are well-connected and avoid unsafe conditions that may result from energization of the housing in
the event of an electrical failure.
17. Keep the equipment clean and internal drying.
18. Once the sterilizer has been heated and sterilized the equipment is not allowed to move any more.
If it is really necessary to move, it should be stopped after work. When it has been installed with
sterilized objects, it must not be moved by the handle.
