How do you plan to implement this lesson and integrate the technology? Check all that apply:

☐ Teacher-led: There is no student voice and choice in the activities. Students are guided by the
teacher's direction and expectations. Learning activities are assigned to the
student and mostly practice based.

☐ Student-Led: Students are given voice and choice in the activities. They may select the topic
of learning and/or determine the tool they will use to meet the learning goal. The
teacher facilitates the learning as the students direct their own learning processes.

☐ Problem-based (Real world problems) and/or Publishable: Students are solving problems
and completing projects to demonstrate their learning. Additionally, the projects can be shared
outside of the classroom. (Note: This objective could be reached by displaying the project on the
school’s morning newscast, posting the project to the classroom blog, presenting it to another
class, or publishing it via an outside source.)

Web 2.0 Tools for Communication and Collaboration

During my Lesson plan I will address the standard Empowered Learner 1d by giving students the
chance to expand their learning of the girlfriend of element plants through technology. Do using the
tool Padlet children are able to access what they know want to know and what they have learned
through the videos and games can you collaborate with other students about what they have
learned. During the assessment of the listed on the growth and development of plants children will
use Blooket to answer questions about what they have learned while also playing the game with
their choice as they answered the questions. To conclude the lesson children will create a picture or
picture book about what they learned and post it the Padlet where they can see other students’
ideas.

Managing student learning:

The Padlet allows students to move from passive to more active social learning through seeking and
exchanging information with their peers. I will allow for time on task and get every hand up by using
the tool Blooket by assesses students in real time learning and see where I need to adjust learning to
better fit student’s needs.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL):

My lesson plan appeals to the UDL framework by appealing students’ sense of engagement by giving
students choice in their path through Web 2.0 tools. The lesson appeals representation by providing
multiple ways to learn about plants appealing to multiple types of learns. It appeals to
representation and expression by giving ways to exhibit their learning.
Reflective Practice:
I believe this tool can help students build a better understanding in a way that could not with
traditional tools because it allows for a code engagement and collaboration among student
students. In my lesson plan I look forward assess student learning through the Blooket I made and
the plant book assignment for the summary of the lesson.
