    COMPUTATIONS FOR NUMBER OF LUMINAIRES AND LAMPS

    Total Area: 8m x 5m = 40m²


    Required Lighting intensity, E: 50 lux (PAES 402)
    Total lumens required (E x A): 50 lux x 40m² = 2000 lumens
    Total lumens given out by lamps: 11000 lumens x 5.5m= 11,000

    LED bulbs light 20 watts about 2250 lumens


    Number of lamps Required:
    =Total lumens given out by lamps/Lumen output of eacℎ lamp

    =11000/2250 lumens
    = approximately 5 lamps

    5 lamps (20 watts) = 100 watts

    Total Area: 6m x 8m = 48m²


    Required Lighting intensity, E: 50 lux (PAES 402)
    Total lumens required (E x A): 50 lux x 48 m² = 2400 lumens
    Total lumens given out by lamps: 2400 lumens x 5.5m= 13,200
    LED bulbs light 20 watts about 2250 lumens
    Number of lamps Required:
    =Total lumens given out by lamps/Lumen output of eacℎ lamp

    =13,200/2250 lumens
    = approximately 6 lamps

    6 lamps (20 watts) = 120 watts
