Baseball -also known as pelota-, boxing, athletics, judo and soccer, to a lesser extent, are the
sports that Cubans practice the most. Several left their mark on the Olympic Games, such as
the "prince of heights", Javier Sotomayor, the boxers Félix Savón and Teófilo Stevenson, the
wrestler Mijaín López, and the "grasshopper", Iván Pedroso, among others. Cubans are also

Volleyball, baseball, boxing and athletics are the most popular sports in the Cuban country:
