There is a slight difference between the mean of the calculation in question a and the
calculation in question d. This can be seen in the different mean values of the computations
from the two parts of the problem. In part a, the mean is 9.1 and in part d, the mean is 8.8.
Similarly, the standard deviation in part a was calculated as 3.56 while in part d it was
calculated as 3.54.This is very likely to happen because when we convert raw data into interval
and frequency data, we will lose some detailed information from the data. For example, in the
raw data, we know the exact value of each data point, but in the interval frequency data, we
only know one point in the interval notation but not the exact number of each data point
