It is my pleasure to write this letter of reference for Dr. Uzma Rani. I have known Dr.

Rani
since 2009 and she ranks among my very best students and also a co-worker. I recommend
her to you highly.

During her doctoral studies, Dr. Rani has proved herself an able researcher and a sterling
mentor to her junior doctoral mates. She handled responsibility well and conscientiously
followed through on all that was asked of her to maintain during her doctoral journey. She
has participated actively and productively in multiple school activities including seminars,
workshops, colloquiums and international conferences. She has performed the duty as
Graduate Assistant in the school of Social Sciences and had been very vigilant and punctual
to manage 5 classes per week. She has been appointed as Tutor during her Doctoral studies
and managed foreign students of BS level in School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains
Malaysia. She has diverse international teaching experience. I strongly recommend her for
the faculty position in any prestigious higher education institute. She would proof herself
appropriate for teaching and managing contemporary challenges.

As her Head of the Department, in Fatima Jinnah Women University, Ms. Rani worked under
my supervision for two years and impressed me greatly with her focus and determination.
She has worked as the coordinator of the Psychological Tests Resource Centre of the
University and did her job very well and up to the mark. She always met tight schedules and
deadlines very effectively. She never hesitated to ask for help when it’s needed most. She
showed great interest in her field and her passion for the field of research is evident. She is
exceptional at multitasking and has organised many departmental events for students and
staff during her appointment as the coordinator.

I am also very impressed by the way she has worked in a team. Ms. Rani got along well with
everyone. She is caring, respectful, and patient. She often sat with other students who needed
extra help and explained to them the concepts they didn’t understand and make them better as
team workers. There is no doubt in my mind that she will succeed in whatever path she
chooses to take. She was one of my most motivated students and employee who never
succumbed to the pressure of academic work and external commitments.

In short, I give Uzma Rani my highest recommendation. She is one of the best students I have
seen and is a talented researcher. I expect her to continue to be as productive and creative as
she was as a student and employee in my department. She would be a good catch for any
institution, and I urge the selection committee to consider her candidacy seriously. Please feel
free to contact me if I can be of any further assistance in your review of her candidacy.
