Storybooks and Big Books of the Department of Education – Region XII. Pur-

JEDELYN B. PORTUITO
Manunulat

Jedelyn Bedua Portuito, a versatile educator was born on

December 03, 1982 at Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat. Re-
ceived her Bachelor in Elementary Education in 2006
from Sultan Kudarat State University. She pursued her
graduate studies on the same school taking up Master in
Management, Major in Educational Management where
she completed her Academic Requirements.
Jedelyn began her career as a teacher in an elementary
school. She worked in Maguintech from 2006-2007, and
New Isabela Central Elementary School from 2007 to the
present. Promoted to Master Teacher I in 2019. In addi-
tion to her teaching duties, she is also the School Reading Coordinator, School ESP Coordi-
nator, School SIP/AIP Coordinator, School Brigada Eskwela Co-Coordinator, and a winning
coach in Palarong Pambansa for 5 consecutive years
Jedelyn has engaged for writing outside of teaching by creating a storybook and a big
book stories and creating interactive lessons to motivate learners to learn while having fun
and motivating them to develop the love for reading.

Dibuhista

Siya ay isang Guro sa Centrala Central Elementary

School sa Bayan ng Surallah, Timog Kutabato. Isang
manunulat at taga-guhit ng ibat ibang gamit
pangkatuto ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon. Siya rin ay
tagadisenyo ng mga pabat ng mga modyul, learning
activity sheets and educational materials sa Sangay
ng Timog Kutabato.
Siya ay bahagi ng Division, Regional and Na-
tional Pool of Illustrators ng Kagawaran ng Edukasy-
on.
