INTRODUCTION
Gulayan sa Paaralan Program is an one of the best
manner to inspire stakeholders to involve in school project and
program. It is a resourceful approach to the aware the community
about health and nutrition. Aside from implementing school garden,
it is also an effective way to encourage parents to acquire knowledge
on gardening techniques and strategies, and to continue the project
all the way to their homes.
Although the school was recognized by the community by
continues implementation of the said program it ensures to continue
nurturing the school garden. This year implementation of the said
program was reasonably different. Since the country was still
combatting against Covid -19 virus, the Gulayan sa Paaralan
Integration with Project Lolita was guided by the health protocol.

CROPPING
CALENDAR
Cropping Calendar is an information tool in food
security. It provides information on periods of planting, sowing and
harvesting.

The Cropping Calendar supports farmers in taking appropriate

production and marketing decisions for their crops. It enhances local
production by making an available time with the information on
various stages of crop development that guide farmers specifically
on decisions pertaining to input usage. It serves as a reference
material for emergency planning of the rehabilitation of farming
system after disaster.

Cropping calendar indicates the crops we have in our garden,

from the time of planting up to harvesting. After planting, there are
plants that can be harvested all year-round and some are 3-4 months
only.

The Gulayan sa Paaaralan in preparation for the next

crop to be planted. In that way the garden will sustain the needs of
vegetables in school and help children who were undernourished
and need for proper nutrient that comes from the vegetables.

Eggplant, kamote tops, okra and mustasa , are bestselling crops

in the garden. The school also launching of Lun-TEA-an! Don

PARTNERSHIP
AND
LINKAGES
To create effective education systems and effective learning
environments, all stakeholders need to come together in a
meaningful way, through collaboration and therefore
connection.

And successful collaboration between all stakeholders means deep

listening as well as active doing. Open, transparent dialogue results
in all parties feeling seen, heard and valued, and in the end it’s the
connection and compassion formed through those healthy
relationships that creates successful teaching and learning
outcomes.
