IV. Procedure
A. Preparation
The teacher will greet the students and then ask them to pray and sit properly.
B. Motivation
The teacher will group the class into two (2) groups and let the students have a debate
on the topic, "What is more important to you: pursuing your dreams or pursuing
your parents' dream?"
C. Lesson Proper
The teacher will provide a brief historical background about the author of the story of
Romeo and Juliet—William Shakespeare.
The teacher will play a video from SparkNotes entitled, “Shakespeare’s Romeo and
Juliet summary.”
D. Activity
The teacher will let the students interpret the morals of the story of Romeo and Juliet.
E. Generalization
The teacher will ask the students a question, “What is the entire message of the story
of Romeo and Juliet?”
