Exercise challenge : To make the New Kitakyushu Airport Terminal Area Plan
Planning point in time of this exercise : 2002 (You are in 2002, now.)

1.Summary of New Kitakyushu Airport
・ Installer : Minister of Land, infrastructure and Transport

2.Background

・ The existing Kitakyushu Airport has a short runway of 1,600 m, and it is difficult to extend the
runway because there are mountains and urban areas around it.
・ So, it has been decided to construct the New Kitakyushu Airport with a runway of 2,500m on
the offshore sea of the old airport.
・ The artificial island for the new airport is under construction now.

・ You must to make the Terminal Are Plan for the airport.
