Job Summary:
The I.T. Office Head is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the
Information Technology department, ensuring the efficient functioning of systems,
networks, and technical support.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This role involves leading and managing a team of IT professionals, providing guidance,
and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

 Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.


 Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, assigning tasks and ensuring timely
project delivery.
 Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, including
networks, servers, and hardware.
 Provide high-level technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for
both hardware and software.
 Implement and enforce IT security policies to safeguard data and systems.
 Collaborate with external vendors to procure and manage IT-related services and
products.
 Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in resource
allocation.

Required Skills/Abilities:

 Strong leadership and management skills to guide and motivate the IT team.
 In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, security, and emerging
technologies.
 Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address complex IT
issues.
 Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical
stakeholders.
 Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends. 6. Proficient in
project management methodologies for overseeing IT projects.

Education and Experience:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.


 Proven experience in IT management, with a minimum of 5 years in a
supervisory role.
 Civil service Level II passer Physical Requirements: This role may require
prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or working at a computer. Adequate
physical fitness to occasionally lift and carry IT equipment is necessary.
