Make A Report On Use of Strain Gauge For Weight Measurement in A Simple Platform
Make A Report On Use of Strain Gauge For Weight Measurement in A Simple Platform
Place:Bhayander(E)
Date:
1.0 Brief Introduction :- A strain gauge is a sensor used to measure strain (deformation) on
an object. In weight measurement on simple platforms, strain gauges are typically bonded
to a rigid structure beneath the platform. As weight is applied to the platform, it deforms
slightly, causing the strain gauge to also deform, altering its electrical resistance. This
change in resistance is proportional to the weight applied, allowing for accurate weight
measurement.
2.0 Aim of the Micro-Project
1) Communicate effectively and skillfully at workplace.
2) To develop Listening, Reading, Writing skills.

INTRODUCTION OF ABSOLUTE COORDINATE SYSTEM &
RELATIVE COORDINATE SYSTEM
Absolute coordinate entry is the default. Absolute coordinate entry always counts
from the origin. When drawing lines, AutoCAD is ready to place the next vertex
wherever you tell it to go:
For relative coordinates, AutoCAD does not count from 0,0. Instead, the
reference point is the previous point in the drawing. Let’s draw another line, and
see what it looks like compared to the old one:
1. Type L on the command line and press enter
2. Type 4,6 on the command line and press enter
3. Type @5,3 on the command line and press enter
4. Press enter to finish the line command
AutoCAD recognizes the @ symbol as instructions to count using relative
coordinates.
Notice the difference. While both lines made thus far started at the same point, this
time, for the second vertex, AutoCAD counted 5 over and 3 up from the first vertex,
and made the line between those two locales.
Simplicity: Relative coordinates are often simpler to work with, especially in dynamic
environments or when dealing with iterative processes where the starting point may
vary.
Efficiency: Using relative coordinates can lead to more efficient coding and
computations, particularly in scenarios where movements or transformations are
repetitive or incremental.
A relative coordinate system, on the other hand, specifies the position of a point
relative to another point or a series of points, rather than a fixed origin. It's useful
when you need to describe the position of an object or point in relation to another
object or point, such as in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software or when giving
directions.
For example, in CAD software, you might use absolute coordinates to place objects
precisely within a design, while relative coordinates could be used to move objects
relative to their current position. Similarly, in navigation, absolute coordinates could
pinpoint a location on a map, while relative coordinates could describe how to get
from one location to another based on landmarks or distances traveled.
CONCLUISION
Each system has its advantages and applications depending on the context and
requirements of the problem at hand. While absolute coordinates offer precision
and consistency, relative coordinates offer flexibility and ease of understanding in
certain situations. Ultimately, the choice between them depends on the specific
needs of the task or application.
