As you know, the Dominant Culture in a society is the group whose

members are in the majority or who wield more power than other groups.
You can see some typical dominant groups like: WASPs, white America,
middle class, Christianity in the West, Protestant of Northern Europe
descent. At the time of the American Revolution, the white population was
largely English in origin, Protestant, middle class. Such Americans are
sometimes referred to as WASPs. It means :Tín hữu Tin lành người Mỹ

United States throughout its history.

Entertainment culture in America is a significant aspect of the country's


cultural landscape and has had a profound impact both domestically and
globally. The United States is widely regarded as a powerhouse in the
entertainment industry, producing a vast array of films, television shows,
music, and other forms of popular entertainment. Some elements that
define entertainment culture in America:
Hollywood: Hollywood, located in Los Angeles, California. It is the
center of movie production and home to major film studios, iconic
landmarks like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the annual Academy
Awards (the Oscars).
Music: The American music industry has produced influential artists
and genres that have had a global impact. From jazz and blues to rock 'n'
roll, hip-hop, country, and pop music, American musicians have shaped
popular music trends and set the stage for cultural movements.
EX: Michael Jackson, often called the "King of Pop", Taylor Swift,
or Charlie Puth who recently arrived in Nha Trang, VietNam.
In summary, while Anglo-American culture has had a significant
influence on American society, the United States is a diverse and
multicultural country with a multitude of cultures that contribute to its
overall identity.
