professionals or in your knowledge of nursing.
Using your own experience as a guide and the learning in this and other subjects you have
undertaken as part of this degree, in 500 words, develop a critique of how developing self confidence
as a nurse improves your practice as a nurse and ultimately patients' outcomes .
You are expected to use three up-to-date references.

Introduction

Being in nursing profession has frequently involved us in negative aspects.

These negative aspects trained us as nurses. It triggered our conscious and

made us more aware about a lot of things such as: psychophysiological
stress, and work-related depression.

Simulation has been used extensively to train students and health

professionals in the assessment and early intervention of patients with
acutely deteriorating conditions. These simulations evoke
psychophysiological stress in learners which may affect performance. We
examined the relationship between stress variables, confidence, and
performance during repeated scenarios in clinically-based emergency
simulations.
