Modification of the pressure ring

Rear axles of series 4 and 5

The above mentioned rear axles, as per the following indications, are now receiving the application of pressure
rings (race of the wheel hub seal) containing a modification in the chamfered edge existing in its outer diameter.

The chamfered edge modification (from 1.5 x 20° - RZ 25 to 3.0+0,5 x 20° - RZ 6.3) has the purpose of avoiding
the damnification of the seal lips, when mounting the rear wheel hubs.

NOTES:
• When mounting the wheel hub, we recommend:
- to fill the cavity between the seal lips with grease for bearings;
- during the mounting procedure, return slightly the hub, in order to eliminate an eventual deformation of the
seal lips. In sucession, introduce the seal until the final position and complete the mounting procedure.
• Eventual anomalies/irregularities must be informed to XESG/XEDP, according to the usual procedures.
