Scripture: Psalms 119:89-92

1. The Word of God: A Sure Covenant.

• What is a covenant?
A covenant is a relationship between two partners who make binding promises to each
other and work together to reach a common goal.

Our experiences must be judged by scripture not scripture judged experiences.

B. The Word of God is forever settled in Heaven, we must settle it on earth.

Psalms 119:89-92.

• What does this mean? #Discuss

God’s Word is “settled” means that it is driven down deep into the bedrock of
heaven. Nothing that happens on earth can change God’s Word in heaven.

* Notice that God's Word is forever settled. It will never change. What it says today, it
will say 100 years from now.

* You are not going to get God to change His Mind to agree with you.

* You must change your mind to agree with Him.

* His Word is settled. The Word SETTLED in Psalms 119:89 is the Hebrew word
NATSAD( Naw-tsab) which means: to STATION, to set as Boundary, Erect,
Establish, Sharpen, Upright, Best State.
* God's Word never stops working. Isaiah 55:11

# This means that God has set His Word as a boundary beyond which no Christian
should go. If it's not in the Bible, you should not do it.
