MEMORANDUM

FOR: ALL SK CHAIRPERSON

SUBJECT: ATTENDANCE TO THE oSKlove EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT

DATE: MARCH 02, 2024

This is with reference to the Republic Act no. 10742, otherwise known as the
Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 as stated in section 30 that during their
incumbency, they must attend the continuing training programs.

The oSKlove Empowerment Summit is crucial for Sangguniang Kabataan

officials because it helps them gain valuable knowledge, skills, and motivation to be
effective leaders for the youth in their communities. These summits provide a platform for
learning and networking, allowing SK officials to better understand the issues facing
young people and equipping them with the tools to address these challenges. The
empowerment summit is like a training ground that empowers SK officials with the
information and inspiration they need to make a positive impact on the youth they
represent and contribute to the development of their local communities.

The oSKlove Empowerment Summit will focus on three main sessions.

1. UN Sustainable Development Goals: A Guide for Meaningful Projects
2. Advocacies and Passions: Fuel for Leaders
3. Program and Project Management: Skills Essential for Youth Leadership

With this, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation will be holding the oSKlove
Empowerment Summit on March 2, 2024, at Tan-awan Covered Court, Oslob, Cebu to
be participated in by the following officials per barangay, to wit:

1. SK Chairperson
2. 7 Sangguniang Kabataan Members (Kagawad)
3. SK Secretary; and
4. SK Treasurer

Anent thereto, NO registration fee will be collected, only prepare the meal per
barangay for the day.
