decently. The United Nations news portal reported just last month that the post-pandemic world economy is still feeling the sting from COVID-19.
However, GlobeNewswire found that the global food and beverages market grew from $6,729.54 billion in 2022 to $7,221.73 billion in 2023 at a
compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.3%.

The First Bubble Wrap Was Invented by Accident

Bubble wrap was invented by two engineers named Alfred Fielding and Marc Chavannes in 1957. However, their initial intention was not
intended for packaging purposes.

Fielding and Chavannes were attempting to create a three-dimensional plastic wallpaper by sealing two shower curtains together. They
sealed the curtains with tiny air bubbles trapped between them, thinking it would make create a nice wallpaper with texture. This creation
did not take off, but they realised it could be used for something else.

Trapped air bubbles have cushioning properties, so the two men thought that their creation could be used for protecting fragile items
during transportation. Subsequently, this product became known as the bubble wrap.

The BCG Model


The Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model is a wholistic approach
that focuses on the use of natural resources and regenerative
practices. There are three key principles in this model:

1) Bioeconomy: The promotion of sustainable use of natural
