Notification of part number change.

BACKGROUND
To remain consistent with current part nomenclature standards, HOTSTART is reassigning the
affected Thermocord (Y-cord) part numbers. The affected parts will not undergo any component or
manufacturing alterations; form fit, function and application will remain unchanged.

The following table displays the previous A-2822-XX part numbers along with the newly updated
Thermocord (Y-cord) part numbers:

CLARIFICATION & REFERENCE
Like other HOTSTART part numbers, the new TC-prefix part numbers will describe the physical
characteristics and operating parameters of the Thermocord assembly. For a description of the part
number nomenclature, reference the following part number breakdown:

EXAMPLE: TC031110-866
(Thermocord, ½″ NPT, 120 V, thread on straight 0.375 pin spacing, 100 to 120 °F
thermostat, 48″power cord, 36″ heater cord, 36″ thermostat cord)
