Chapter I
INTRODUCTION

This chapter of the paper presents the problem and its setting. It includes the

background of the study, the statement of the problem, significance of the study, and

scope and delimitation of the study.

Background of the Study

A computer system servicing course is intended to give students skills and

knowledge needed to properly maintain and troubleshoot computer systems. In this

modern digital era, where computers are an essential part of basically every area of

daily life, there is rising demand for trained technicians who can maintain computer

systems. Students who finish this course will have a solid grasp in both the hardware

and software components of computer maintenance, preparing them for careers in a

range of fields such as computer repair services, IT support, and telecommunications.

Four main categories generally appear in a computer system servicing certificate of

competency (C.O.C.).

Basic Servicing and Maintenance of Computer Systems, the basic concepts of


computer hardware, such as CPUs, motherboards, memory, storage, and peripherals,
are covered. Students learn experience on how to assemble one another as well as
