Digital defense: EWU students raise awareness on cybercrime challenges

East West University, Dhaka. East west University arranged an awareness raising campaign
with female speaker of jatiya sangsad Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, tomorrow at 12:00 pm at East
West University’s ground to prevent cybercrime.

Nowadays students are more dependent on digital platforms for education,communication and
various transactions,understanding the importance of digital platforms. East west university
students arranged a cybersecurity awareness.the campaign, led by a dedicated group of
students from various disciplines.our chief guest talked about different kinds of online problems.
Also shared how to be safe online and explained why we should be extra careful there.

One of the teacher, Shamima Akter Shanta mam said “the students are doing a great job.it’s
great to see our students are taking the lead on such a crucial topic and helping each other.in
today's world we need to be careful, and it shows that our students are making a great
difference.
