1. What do you think are the qualities of Rizal
that made these ladies fall head-over-heals
with him?
ANSWER
Based on the video and the article, Rizal has personalities of
being friendly, a Poet, Charming, Intelligent, and knows how
to project his flowery words. These different qualities made
the ladies fall in love with Rizal.

2. What are the similarities and differences ofThe similarities of them are that they’re young, petite, and

with the separation with Rizal. Ortiga, Beckett, and Jacoby
cried buckets and been heartbroken when Rizal left. While
Usui, and Valenzuela didn’t shed a tear.

was engaged when Rizal met her. Rizal courted both
Leonora at the same time, however Rizal pursed Rivera at
the end. With Rivera, his first great love, the mother does
not like Rizal for her daughter. She blocked all the letters
Rivera and Rizal exchange with each other. After a few
years, Rivera’s mother arranged a marriage for her daughter
with Kipping. Rizal was engaged to Rivera when he met
Ortiga. Beckett was friend zoned. With Jacoby and Usui,
Rizal needed to go to a different country.
Among the women, Leonora Rivera, I think that Rizal truly
loved. According to the video and article, these two were in
a long-term relationship, they were even in a long-distance
relationship. Also, it was mentioned in the video that after
his relationship with Rivera, his next relationship was mostly
rebound. And when Rivera died, Rizal was heartbroken,
depressed, and cried like a child.
My answer is no, because Rizal, like me is a person. He fell in
“chikboy” has nothing to do with what he contributed in the
history. His works, helped a lot of Filipinos to be enlightened
with what’s happening in the society. His lovelife is a whole
lot different story, and is not connected in any way as him
being a national hero.
