During that time, | was ‘especially impressed by Cassidy's intelligence and strong work ethic, Since this class took place during the COVID-19 pandemic, Cassidy was not able to teach a science demonstration to an actual elementary school class. Instead, TCNJ had subscribed to a program called “Mursion” in which our students were able to teach to an elementary class of avatars. Cassidy did exceptionally welt with this experience, ‘earning high scores for the assignment, even in the face of challenging behaviors of the avatars. In fact, Cassidy was the only student in my class that semester to earn a grade of 100% for the course.
