SAMPLE REPORT

Write a report on the dog that was injured during an attempted robbery at your

neighbour’s home. Include:

● Date and time of the incident

● What happened

● Outcome of the situation

On Friday 12th October, 2019 around 10 am, a German - Shepherd dog was injured on

Lutchman Street, Debe.

The incident occurred during an attempted robbery at one of the homes on the street. As

the thief attempted to enter the home through a window, the dog attacked and was shot in the leg.

The thief then fled the scene through the garden of the neighbour’s yard leaving the injured dog

whimpering on the house.

Upon hearing the commotion the neighbours came out of their home. Mr. Smith, the

neighbour across the street, contacted the police. One of the residents, Mr. Carl Brown, a

veterinarian, got his medical bag to treat the injured dog. He informed the owners, who by this

time had returned home, that the dog would need surgery to remove the bullet. The dog was later

taken to hospital.

Finally, the residents decided to form a neighbourhood watch group to deter future

bandits.
