AUTHOR GUIDELINES

General guideline

1. The Indonesian Journal of Infectious Disease (IJID) only accepts manuscripts that have
not been and will not be published in other media in the form of research results, studies /
reviews in the field of health, especially infectious diseases.
2. The submitted manuscript has not been published, is not in the process of review in other
journals / media, and during the publishing process in IJID will not be revoked / diverted
to another journal / media.
3. The copyright of the entire contents of the uploaded manuscript shall be transferred to
the publisher of the journal and all its contents shall not be reproduced in any form
without the issuer's permission.
4. Manuscripts on research using human and animal subjects shall enclose Ethical
Clearance.
5. All statements in the article are the responsibility of the author.
6. The article should be written in Mirosoft Word program, 11 pt Arial, 1.5 space, A4 size,
Margin 3-3-3-3(left-right-top-bottom), maximum 15 pages including abstract, image /
table preparation
7. The author is responsible for thoroughly checking the accuracy of citation, grammar,
tables and figure before submission.
8. The author/s have responsibility to revise their article after receiving a review from the
editorial boards.
9. The author/s should register at the e-journal of Analisa before submitting their paper and
fill the form completely.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's
compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do
not adhere to these guidelines.

7. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a
Blind Review have been followed

Scientific Writing Structure

1. The scientific writing structure for research manuscripts includes: research title,
author’s name (the author’s complete name without abbreviations), name of institution
and its address, author’s contact details (the email address and phone number of the
author), abstract with keywords, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion,
acknowledgment, bibliography (with a maximum of 25 references published no more than
10 years ahead of the date of the research).
2. The research title should be concise, clear, informative, without any abbreviations, and
written in Indonesian and English, containing a maximum of 15 words. If the title is too
long, break it into a title and a sub-title.
3. The author’s name written should be the full name without any abbreviations, and if
there is more than one institution, distinguish the institutions by number.
4. Contact details should contain the name of the main author, the address of the institution,
phone number and email (using the Arial font size 10, line space 1).
5. Abstract should be written in Indonesian and English containing a maximum of 250
words each, without any subheading and typed in 1 whole paragraph, and should contain
a brief summary and conclusion of the research, and be completed with 3-5 keywords
(using the Arial font size 9, line space 1).
6. Introduction should be without any subheading, and should contain the background of
the research, a brief review of relevant literature, and the research objectives (using the
Arial font size 11, line space 1.5).
7. Methods for the research manuscript should be written without any subheading, and
should describe the materials/components/objects being researched, research design,
samples, sampling method, and analysis techniques (using the Arial font size 11, line
space 1.5).
8. Methods for the research manuscript should include the literature search strategy,
inclusion or exclusion criteria, article search method, review method (article
classification, data recording sheets), and data presentation (using the Arial font size 11,
line space 1.5).
9. Tables, graphs, and figures should be inserted in the research manuscript instead of
being presented in separate on individual pages. There should be a maximum of 5 tables
and 3 graphs/figures, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Provide clear numbering
and descriptions above the tables and below the figures/graphs (using the Arial font size
10, line space 1 for table and figure captions).
10. Discussion should contain a discussion of findings, and also contain answers to the
research questions and elaboration of matters related to the research objectives,
compared against/aligned with the results of other researches (using the Arial font size
11, line space 1.5).
11. Conclusion should contain a summary statement concerning the results to answer the
research objectives, written in the form of paragraph narratives instead of bullet points
(using the Arial font size 11, line space 1.5).
12. Acknowledgment should be addressed to the institution and/or persons contributing to
the research, and to the research funders.
 13. Bibliography should be written using the Vancouver system. Detailed examples for
writing references according to the Vancouver system can be viewed by accessing the

1. Jurnal Penyakit Menular Indonesia (IJID) hanya menerima naskah yang belum dan tidak akan

4. Naskah penelitian yang menggunakan subjek manusia dan hewan harus dilengkapi dengan
Izin Etis.

5. Semua pernyataan dalam artikel adalah tanggung jawab penulis.

6. Artikel ditulis dalam program Mirosoft Word, Arial 11 pt, spasi 1,5, ukuran A4, Margin 3-3-3-
3 (kiri-kanan-atas-bawah), maksimal 15 halaman termasuk abstrak, penyusunan gambar/tabel

7. Penulis bertanggung jawab untuk memeriksa secara menyeluruh keakuratan kutipan, tata
bahasa, tabel, dan gambar sebelum diserahkan.

8. Penulis bertanggung jawab untuk merevisi artikel mereka setelah menerima review dari dewan
redaksi.

9. Penulis harus mendaftar di e-journal Analisa sebelum mengirimkan makalahnya dan mengisi
formulir dengan lengkap.

Struktur Penulisan Ilmiah

1. Struktur penulisan ilmiah untuk naskah penelitian meliputi: judul penelitian, nama penulis
(nama lengkap penulis tanpa singkatan), nama institusi dan alamatnya, detail kontak penulis
(alamat email dan nomor telepon penulis), abstrak dengan kata kunci , pendahuluan, metode,
hasil, pembahasan, kesimpulan, pengakuan, daftar pustaka (maksimal 25 referensi yang
diterbitkan tidak lebih dari 10 tahun sebelum tanggal penelitian).

2. Judul penelitian harus ringkas, jelas, informatif, tanpa singkatan, dan ditulis dalam bahasa
Indonesia dan Inggris, maksimal 15 kata. Jika judul terlalu panjang, pecah menjadi judul dan
sub-judul.

3. Nama penulis yang ditulis harus nama lengkap tanpa singkatan, dan jika lebih dari satu
lembaga, dibedakan dengan nomor.

4. Rincian kontak harus berisi nama penulis utama, alamat institusi, nomor telepon dan email
(menggunakan font Arial ukuran 10, spasi 1).

5. Abstrak ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris masing-masing maksimal 250
kata, tanpa subjudul dan diketik dalam 1 paragraf utuh, serta memuat ringkasan singkat dan
kesimpulan penelitian, serta dilengkapi 3-5 kata kunci (menggunakan font Arial ukuran 9, spasi
baris 1).
6. Pendahuluan harus tanpa subjudul, dan harus memuat latar belakang penelitian, tinjauan
singkat literatur yang relevan, dan tujuan penelitian (menggunakan font Arial ukuran 11, spasi
1,5).

7. Metode penulisan naskah penelitian harus ditulis tanpa subjudul, dan harus menggambarkan
bahan/komponen/objek yang diteliti, desain penelitian, sampel, metode pengambilan sampel, dan
teknik analisis (menggunakan font Arial ukuran 11, spasi 1,5).

8. Metode penulisan naskah penelitian harus mencakup strategi pencarian literatur, kriteria
inklusi atau eksklusi, metode pencarian artikel, metode review (klasifikasi artikel, lembar
pencatatan data), dan penyajian data (menggunakan font Arial ukuran 11, spasi 1,5).

9. Tabel, grafik, dan gambar harus disisipkan dalam naskah penelitian dan tidak disajikan secara
terpisah pada halaman tersendiri. Harus ada maksimal 5 tabel dan 3 grafik/gambar, dengan
resolusi minimal 300 dpi. Memberikan penomoran dan keterangan yang jelas di atas tabel dan di
bawah gambar/grafik (menggunakan font Arial ukuran 10, spasi 1 untuk keterangan tabel dan
gambar).

10. Pembahasan harus memuat pembahasan temuan, serta memuat jawaban atas pertanyaan
penelitian dan penjabaran hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan tujuan penelitian, dibandingkan
dengan/diselaraskan dengan hasil penelitian lain (menggunakan font Arial ukuran 11, spasi 1,5) .

11. Kesimpulan harus berisi pernyataan rangkuman tentang hasil untuk menjawab tujuan
penelitian, ditulis dalam bentuk paragraf narasi bukan poin-poin (menggunakan font Arial
ukuran 11, spasi 1,5).

12. Ucapan terima kasih harus ditujukan kepada lembaga dan/atau orang-orang yang
berkontribusi pada penelitian, dan kepada penyandang dana penelitian.

13. Daftar Pustaka harus ditulis dengan menggunakan sistem Vancouver. Contoh detail
penulisan referensi menurut sistem Vancouver dapat dilihat dengan mengakses link berikut:

mematuhi pedoman ini.
