I. Objectives

II. Learning Experience


During an engaging discussion on common pediatric cases and disorders, Ma'am Julie adeptly guided her
students through the process of developing prioritized, patient-centered intervention and management plans. She
encouraged them to list indicators of child health, emphasizing the importance of thorough assessment. Through
interactive dialogue, she described the causes, symptoms, signs, and prevention measures for common
communicable diseases of children, encouraging critical thinking and application of knowledge. Ma'am Julie
emphasized the development of competency in the physical examination of infants, children, and adolescents,
ensuring her students gained practical skills. Furthermore, she fostered the development of clinical problem-
solving skills by presenting case scenarios and encouraging active participation in finding solutions. Her
teaching approach included strategies for health promotion and disease and injury prevention, instilling a
holistic understanding of pediatric care. Ma'am Julie also focused on developing attitudes and professional

III. Insights from the Experience
