Rigging up safely – connecting drilling line

1. Ensure using of tag lines
2. Supervisor should inspect the lifting chain
3. All hand tools should be clean to avoid any slip hazard
4. Avoid pinch point
5. Wear proper PPE
6. Ensure that the tension applied same on all legs otherwise slake again and adjust the chain length to
have same tension on all legs
7. Close supervision in place Qualified banks man to give signal to crane operator
8. Ensure safe position of all involved persons
9. No working allowed under working area
10. Do not rush into a job stop, plan and consider alternative safe work methods to remove and reduce the
hazard
