Hi, my name is Oluwaranti Oluwapelumi. I’m Nigerian. I’m a Yoruba Christian girl.

I was and raised in Ile-

Ife-a town located in Osun state, southwestern Nigeria. I’m 18 years of age. A Microbiology student in a
prestigious university in Nigeria-Obafemi Awolowo University. My aspiration in life is become an
Emergency and Accident Specialist. An aspiration born from the vision to see my country grow to a
nation where people don’t have to see their loved ones die because of a lackadaisical healthcare system.
In my country, we face a lot of issues and challenges, down to the unaffordable basic necessities of life. I
therefore challenge myself each day to do better, learn new things and most importantly grow in order
to face each challenge I go through every day. This also drives me help others by participating in
volunteering activities and making donations for good courses.

Learning new things and meeting new people are things I love to do. I also love nature photography.
Learning about nature photography has made me see and be informed about beautiful things in life.
Graphics designing has made me translate the images I take to produce beautiful content. I like writing
my thoughts down in a created manner.

I believe in supporting and building women for their growth and development. I’d love to see more
women be empowered, to see them holding core leadership roles in high sectors and aspects in world at
large. I’ve always been passionate the United nations because of their activities in building nations. The
opportunities they give women and young children in some underdeveloped nations of the world. All
activities I’d love to be a part of.
