These pictures show different types of sports. If you want to keep fit and healthy, you should
do some sports regularly. This way you can burn calories and get in better shape. Swimming
is a great single sport. You can do it both in winter and summer. You don’t need special
equipment for this sport, just a swimsuit and a swimming pool in the town. Swimming is good
for all the muscles, especially for the spine (gerinc). It can reduce the level of stress. I find it
relaxing and enjoyable. When I am in the pool, I forget about everything, I just enjoy being in
the water.
In the second picture the guys are playing basketball. It’s a great team sport played all over
the world. It brings people together. To become a good basketball player you need skill and
determination. The best basketball players are in the USA. You have to be tall, strong and fast
to do this sport. We often played basketball on the P.E. lessons at school. In a team sport you
are not alone on the field, you depend on your team mates. It develops cooperation and team
spirit. It is a great feeling when a team is working together to reach the common goal.
